This notice applies to personal data Hootleash, Inc. ("Hootleash", "we", "us") processes as a controller in connection with our website, marketing activities, and the corporate administration of our customer relationships. Personal data that we process on behalf of customers as a processor is governed by our Data Processing Addendum (DPA).
2. What we collect
Contact details, employment and role information, technical telemetry from our website, and content of communications you choose to send us.
3. How we use it
To respond to inquiries, deliver and improve the service, meet regulatory obligations, prevent fraud, and run lawful direct marketing where applicable.
4. Lawful bases
GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) (contract), (c) (legal obligation), (f) (legitimate interest in running and securing the business), or (a) (consent), depending on context.
5. Sharing
With service providers under written contract; with affiliates; with regulators or law enforcement when legally required; and as part of a corporate transaction.
6. International transfers
Where data leaves the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK IDTA, and supplementary measures as required.
7. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes set out above, in line with our retention schedule.
